Im taking it mostly for social anxiety/phobia....I know it's mostly targeted for depression but has anybody had success with Zoloft for social anxiety? If so, at what dose? Thanks a lot.

HI i was taking the smaller dose, cant remember what dose it was now, i was on it for about 4 weeks, it helped with my ocd, and i was alot calmer when i went out where t here was alot of crowds and also stopped me obsessing about being spiked and having to wash my cup out before making coffee etc.. but i had to stop it as it did to me what other ssri's did, sent me manic and raised my hrt rate..

I've got two sample packs of Zoloft and currently tapering off Paxil due to horrible sexual side effects. Wondering which to try with lesser sex side effects, Zoloft or Prozac?

Zoloft is a much cleaner drug, in the sense that its potency at the intended target is much greater (relative to other antidepressants) than at targets that cause side effects. It also has the least chance of pharmacokinetic interactions (interfering with the clearance of other drugs) of the SSRIs.
