i am suppose to start celexa tomorrow 20mg for anxiety attacks and was wondering if anyone is on it and how it is?

Its a great medicine, but has done nothing for my anxiety.

I am on it and it is very effective at alleviating the physical symptoms of my anxiety. Also my ruminations are decreased. Good luck with it!

I started at 20 and worked up to 80 mg. I have no side effects from it and it has helped with my ruminations.
Are you on anything else?

I think it's one of the best ssri's there is. I had no side effects that i can remember. you will probably start on 20 and go up to 40. Don't worry about it.

Celexa is the foundation of my medical treatment for depression. I take 40mg in the morning. I find that the only side effects I have from it are sweating and increased appetite. I think it does very well at treating my depression. I've been on it for about three years now.

Its one of the better, effective SSRI medications, but its side-effects on the Male sex-drive are hard to tolerate.
