Hi Everyone,
I have been reading posts here for about 5 weeks now and I am so glad there are wonderful people out there who can relate to what I am going through. I have been on the Lexapro for 5 weeks and last night had the worst anxiety attack I have had in over a year. When will the Lexapro help allieviate those for me and why do they happen at midnight when I am trying to sleep? If anyone out there can help explain this I would be grateful. Thank you

Kim: I've also had nasty anxiety attacks with Lexapro and found that 1/4 tablet of Remeron 30mg at bed time helps me relax and get a good sleep. Good luck!
As you may know, Remeron is also an antidepressant, very strong, NOT an SSRI. I can't take it at full stength because it zombifies me.

I agree, A tiny tiny peice of remeron is GREAT to help you sleep. Takes away all anxiety! I am only on 5 mg of Lexapro and still occasionally get panic attacks, so i take a piece of remeron and next thing I know, I am peacefully asleep.
This is the end of the thread.
