> Parents of bp kids are tested beyond measure. My nerves are awfull and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. My daughters rants and raves are driving me nuts. I can't take her anywhere. My doctor put me on Effexor, but that has deffinantly not helped my nerves one bit. Any suggestions on something a pdoc might prescribe for nerves? At this rate it won't be her getting hospitalized 24/7 it will be me.

Hi Starrlight,
Young teenagers can be VERY difficult, girls esp. For mild depression you might want to ask your pdoc about Lexapro.
