Anyone out there taking say 150mg Wellbutrin XL plus 100 or so mg of SR to boost the XL a little?

My thoughts were taking them both (150mg XL & 100mg SR) in the morning would give you a good initial boost then you would taper down in the evening versus taking a second SR dose afternoon and possibly not sleeping well?

When I was on Paxil, I took the CR version along with the imideate release version. worked great for me. 37.5mgs SR w/ 20mgs regular. Now I take Wellbutrin SR 200mgs @ 7:00AM & 200 mgs @ 2:00PM.
That is how my pdoc prescribed it.

Took the CR in the am. Regular around 3:00.
My friends daughter takes 150mg Wellbutrin SR in the morning. 100mgs Wellbutrin(regular).& 150mgs Wellbutrin SR at bedtime. (along w/adderal & Abilify). I never heard of anyone taking Wellbutrin @ nighttime

The only main difference between the CR and regular is the CR makes it past your stomach to your lower intestine before releasing which is suppose to help avoid stomach upset. Did you ever have the problem of diarreah or the feeling you had to with the CR version versus the Regular?

I never had a problem with either. I tolerated both very well. Im a lucky one with regards to tolerating Paxil. Wellbutrin SR as well, for that matter.
The only AD I was unable to tolerate was Effexor XR. 3 months later, after complete withdrawl, my vision is still very blury.
