I am having terrible nightsweats every night at around 5 am where I cant sleep afterwards for an hour or so. Is this because of the strattera I am taking? It seems to be getting worse lately. I am on 36 mg of strattera daily and 450 mg of wellbutrin. I am also on 25mcg of cytomel daily. Anyone else have this?? Is it a hormone thing (Im female)

In reply to severe nightsweats/disrupted sleep- strattera??, posted by loolot on December 27, 2003, at 13:29:14
it could be a combination of wellbutrin and strattera. i sometimes get bad night sweats from wellbutrin, i have never taken strattera, but i have been on ritalin and as much as it is different from ritilin in its stimulating effects it is similar, and it caused me to sweat more duriing the day and night. so the combination is probably the culprit. try stopping the strattera (if you can) for a few days and see how your sleep is.
