i stopped my wellbutrin for about a week and i suffered terrible withdrawal, i had sweats, anxiety, irritability, i was a mess...but i stopped it suddenly so that could make all the difference in the world. but every anti-depressant, when discontinued has a risk of rebound depression (if that is why u r taking it)

I slowly lowered the dose for a while. 300 down to 200 down to 100. I stoped at 100 then went back up, because I was tired.

I stopped it abruptly after two months due to side effects and had no withdrawal problems, just immediate relief from the side effects. But everyone reacts differently to these drugs, so tapering off probably is safest. I haven't seen a lot of posts mentioning WB withdrawal, but that doesn't mean it can't happen -- it does seem to be much less problematic than SSRIs in this respect, though.
This is the end of the thread.
