I was searching online and found very little on the actual withdrawal symptoms from Neurontin. I have noticed that I have had itching everytime that I try to switch to another med and not taking the Neurontin. I have itching like Hell all over. Since there are so many lies about neurontin's actual intended purpose by their producers, (11 actual invalid intended purposes) I am wondering did they lie saying it has no withdrawal. I have seen posts online saying they have GI problem and welt like rash. What are the actual discontinuing symptoms? Also, what is it with all these online drug companies? Everytime I try to search for a med, I get hundreds of online drug pushers. It's very frustrating and deceiving.

FYI: The 11 false uses for this drug are listed on www.yourlawyer.com. Does this drug even work for epilepsy? Is this just a useless med pushed with serious addictive qualities? It appears that those of us on it are the intended victims of this seriously illegal scam.

I would not get my medical advise there. While it is true neurontin made excessive claims, a legal site has a clear bias, to also make money off you.

To begin with, the "welt like rash" sounds like hives...I am going through the same thing trying to discontinue my Remeron (which I suspect is due to its anti-histamine properties). I have looked and have found information that Neurontin does *not* affect histamine receptors.
Also, to filter out the online pharm companies, try this from Google:
"Neurontin -buy"
The "-buy" part tells the engine to filter out sites that have the word "buy" in the page text. Make sure there is a space between the last word and the -buy.
This is the end of the thread.
