Even though I'm taking Ambien to sleep, I cannot get these vivid dreams to stop. Has anyone had any luck with stopping these? How?
(Please forgive me for my multiple posts lately. As you can see, these meds are really getting to me...)

Hi, Wildflower. Post away! Heck, when I was out of my mind in Canada this summer, I think I posted like 5 different threads a day.
I had vivid dreams both when starting Paxil and when ending it. I don't know how to get rid of them -- they eventually went away for me. I kind of liked that side effect, because before that, I wasn't remembering any of my dreams....Now I feel like a normal person. I remember some dreams, not all, and only an occasional nightmare.
Did you just start a particular drug other than ambien?

I've always been one to remember dreams (lucky me - ugh!) but lexapro really enhanced this effect. If I wrote down the dreams, I'd probably have one heck of a movie! ;-) I tried to pull myself off the lex but found it too hard to do with the holidays coming.
My pdoc gave me Ambien to help me to sleep but I'm using it nearly every night and it's losing it's effectiveness. I don't go back to see him until 12/12.
This is the end of the thread.
