I posted messages about this in the past, but maybe someone new has some insight to this. Remeron worked AWESOME for me for about 3-4 months, maybe a little less, and then stopped working leaving me even more depressed. Lamictal worked well for about a month. Aside from Lithium augmentation, which didn't do squat, what can be done to make these particular meds work better/longer? Any other add-ons?

In reply to REMERON or LAMICTAL poop out advice, posted by Jackd on November 17, 2003, at 12:34:11
Have you tried prozac with remeron and lamictal? That is exactly what I am prescribed for. 100mgs prozac, 90mgs remeron and 300mgs of lamictal. I have only been on lamictal going on 8 weeks and so far it has been working excellently in lifting my depression. My pdoc added lamictal as the prozac and remeron combo had pooped out after years of alternating between prozac & zoloft with remeron or desipramine. Hope you find the right combo. I think I have found mine at least for now.
