Duloxetine is like Effexor in some essentials. Yes, that's why I'm looking forward to it. I'm hoping that it will provide the effectiveness I see with Effexor but without the high blood pressure at the dosage that works.

Since Duloxetine will also have an indication for stress-urinary incontinence (and at lower doses, too), will there be any side-effects when it is taken for depression? I'm thinking Urinary Retention or something... Has anyone heard anything? Also, I heard that duloxetine has been tested for Fibromyalgia (don't have any details on this. anyone?) and possibly also diabetic neuropathy - does this mean that duloxetine will be affective against pain as well?
Thanks for your help!
