Does anyone have any experience with psycotherapy for ocd. Im trying to decide whether meds or psychotherapy is the way to go.
THe psychotherapist says that he does not want me on any meds for the therapy so that we will know what is effective/ not effective.
It all seems kind of weird to me. He says that there are feelings of anger etc beneath that i cover over and suppress with anxiety, tension and ocd. It sort of seems like an old freudian approach to it. Any thoughts anyone?
