Ultram buprenorphine Qs.

Posted by Questionmark on September 7, 2003, at 23:18:46

i understand that Ultram (tramadol?) is an opioid with serotonin reuptake inhibiting properties. Does it also block norepinephrine transporters? How do the relative strengths of each effect compare to each other (if i worded that right)? If anyone knows or has an idea any response would be appreciated.
Oh, same question in regard to buprenorphine, too.

Also, if anyone has taken one of these opioids as well as Nardil, i would be really interested in hearing about their comparisons-- in terms of their efficacy for depression, SP/SA, OCD-type problems, and heck even ADHD-type stuff. Mucho thanks.

It has much more effect on norepinephrine reuptake inhibition than it has on serotonin and opioid systems.
