Celexa/Lexapro Users......NEED HELP!

Posted by McPac on August 27, 2003, at 12:41:35

Is there a difference in the way that Celexa and Lexapro FEEL? I find Lexapro to be too activating (makes me anxious, irritable).
I've heard some say Celexa is milder (I HOPE it is!)
Has anybody who has taken BOTH felt differently on each one?
Does one make you more nervous, jittery, and irritable than the other?
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there,

Sorry if this doesn't exactly answer your question! I have only been prescribed Celexa and I find that it's very mellowing, whereas prozac was a very hyper experience!

Good luck to you,
Janejj

I can only give you my experience with Celexa, as I have not tried Lexapro, and my experience with Celexa is that it is mellowing if anything, definitely NOT activating.

Thanks J J!!!!!! (NM) (nm)
