Today is day 5 on Nardil. Took 15 mg days 1 and 2, took 30 mg day 3, and am now taking 45 mg a day. I believe my doc wants me to stay at 45 mg for a month, but is this really neccessary? I want to get my problems under control as soon as possible, and I'm sure I'll need a higher dose (I'm not even getting any side effects at this dose - none), how long should I wait before increasing again?
Nardil takers - please share experiences, how long did it take to work... at what dose, etc.

>Took me 4 weeks at 75mg......... that is for it to work on both depression and my social anxiety
45mg to me seems low, but maybe it will work

Worked for me within a week. Was effective at 30-45 mg. The more the merrier, but side effect profile kicked in at 60 mg, effectively limiting me to 45 mg and under. You also know that the food restrictions are mostly bullshit. I'd be dead 1,000 times over if there was any reality to the manufacturer's/pharmacist/prescribers claims. Just stay away from hard cheese, microbrew beer, miso soup and anchovy paste. Mozzarella, yogurt, chococate, other alcohol, etc. are not an issue.
Don't rely on my representations, however - research prior posts using the search vehicle.
