Does anybody else take this as an augmentation. I don't see it talked about at all. Its a beta blocker. For me when I am in acute pain it takes the edge off so I can think or rest or something like that.

All of them. On any med, if tank or switch, I think of it as a fire extinguisher. It just knocks down a certain level of acute pain and makes things manageable. It just seems to help me through rough spots. I keep it around.

So you just use it sometimes, when you need it? Does it work quickly? Have you used it to augment an MAOI? I've been trying to find out info about that, but there doesn't seem to be much.

I've never been on an MAOI. I just don't know. I don't think it would be a problem but those MAOIs are tricky. It works pretty quickly, an hour or so. Yes, I just take it when I need it.
