I'm a newbie here and I'm desperate for any help other than what my doc has been giving me. It's just that I almost ALWAYS get tired in the afternoon no matter how much sleep I got the night before.
I take 300mg Wellbutrin in the morning along with 10mg of Lexapro (also in the morning.) I exercise and eat well, get 8 hours of sleep at night, all my blood levels are normal, yet I'm still tired during the day. Mostly in the early-late afternoon.
My DR suggested taking 20mg of Lex a day, but that makes me even more tired. Oh, I also take Xanax as needed if I'm having a really aggitated day, but I try to get by without as often as I can, since that REALLY mellows me out and sedates me.
So I did some reading here about taking the Lexapro at night but I'm worried about not being able to sleep at night. Does anyone have some words of advice for me? Pretty please?

Split the Wellbutrin dose. Take 150 mg when you get up and the other 150 mg in the afternoon.

I usually take Wellbutrin 150mg in the morning with my Lexapro and then about 6-8 hours later I take another 150mg Wellbutrin.
I notice that I too become sleepy about 7 hours after my first Wellbutrin but when I take the 2nd Wellbutrin, I feel better within 1 hour.
I really do like this combo of meds....i feel really good
