Hi everyone,
I'm on effexorXR 112.5mg.
I do a lot of cycling traning (3hrs/day) and noticed that since i've started effexorXR 4 months ago i'm sweating like crazy, after 15min of heavy training my hole body is soaked! I don't remember sweating that much in the past.
I got the same training partener since many years and whe would sweat about the same, but now, i'm sweating like crazy and he is still dry!!
Any ideas on this subject?
Any comments/suggestion will be welcome.Have a good day everyone!

Sweating is a common side effect of Effexor, as it is with most Antidepressants. You need to consider whether sweating, a relatively minor inconvenience, is worth the trade off for whatever benefit you are deriving from effexor.

I sweated terribly my first few months on Effexor XR--not by exercising, just by sitting here. The sweat would pour down my sides and it was winter so I was freexing at the same time.
The benefits outweighed the sweating but I finally couldn't take it anymore. Actually had botox injections (100mg each) in my armpits and the sweating stopped within four days, thank God.
Hope this helps,
JM
