Just taking a personal 'poll, as I am considering long term treatment at 7.5mg. Bit worried about EPS but. Other long term users would reassure me.
1. How long have you been on Zyprexa?
2. At what dose?
3. Any breaks from it?
Thanks, love to hear your answers!
Ace.

I've been on it two years now.. with a two month break last September / October.
I'vbe had no twitching problems (other than when I took an OD on it which was not a nice experience).
When I had my break, quite quickly the suicidal thoughts came back, but I also lost 30lbs... Most of the 30lbs are back on again ow *sighs*

Hi! I've been taking 10mgs Zyprexa for 5 years now. Yes a few breaks, unproductive ones, but now I have permision to come off it. I tried last year, came off too quick and relapsed, I'm trying again now, very slowly. I'm down to 7.5mgs. I've never had EPS from it. Just feelings of no emotion, had weight gain and lost it during treatment. Collesteral from the over eating which went away with the weight. Bad drowsyness at 15mgs, but not too bad at 10mgs, even more managable at 7.5mgs. The drugs works better than most in its class.
