Is there anyone for whom Parnate did NOT work for? I'm starting to wonder. It's been 5 weeks.
For those who it did work for, how long did it take before you noticed feeling better? And what was/is the dose you take?

I was on 40 for about a month, then last week I went up to 60.

I'm sure you will find a significant difference in efficacy when you implement little lifestlyle changes along with the increase in medication...afterall, it can't hurt, right?

I've always started it at 40 mg. On most occasions it kicked in at about 3-4 weeks, on a couple of occasions at about 3 weeks, and once at 18 days. The general rule of thumb for most ADs is to give them 4-6 weeks or even 8 weeks till you start feeling better. So hang in there a bit longer and see how it goes.

I tried parnate for six weeks, couldn't get past 20mg, cuz it made me sleepy and irritable and more depressed. I think if I were on 40mg, I wouldn't be able to function. Wonder if Nardil would work for me, since Parnate did not. I also felt like I was a little bit bloated while on Parnate.
