After taking effexor for 2 months, I have officially tapered down to my very last 37.5 mg capsule this morning. Praise God! I'm going to start back on Lexapro 10 mgs. Question is, can I start taking it tomorrow morning???
Don't want to call my Dr. Are there any pharmacists out there who might know?

i got to ask:
... Why don't we want to call our doctor?
.... they make the money; they do this for work; they want to help take care of us
.... i figure my doctor wants to earn her money .. and help care for me..... so *i* want you to call your doctor! .... but that's just me and no big deal.
and i'm guessing here that we could call our pharmacist(s) too
.... they like to give this kind of low-down on our meds
.... mine will help me over the phone ..... even if we check with our doctor, i think it's really good to check with the pharmer too.and now, my amatuer advice (!) : go for it!
... i'm no pharmacist nor doc, but i have been on lexapro 3 months.... but i have never had any other ADs, let alone gone through the withdrawals from effexor!
(how was that for you?)
however i have read a LOT about these issues here at our pBabble and more than a few posts have said folks have started lex before they they have stopped their to-be-former AD ....
but hey, what do i know? ....
well, i get all of this from the lex thread, which you may read for your-own-self.... i recommend it very Highly ....
