Has anyone experienced a tightness in the neck and shoulders from Parnate? I also get mild muscle spasms and cramps in my legs. Any suggestions for supplements that might relieve these symptoms?

Funny you should ask. Just before I read your post I felt that tightness in the back of my neck that seems to radiate upward into the base of my skull. Not sure what to do about it, though. As long as it's not dangerous, the feeling isn't bad enough to be of real concern to me.

Hi Mel!,
I can't say too much about Parnate - never been on it (I'm sure I will but at sometime), but I can tell you at higher doses Nardil gives me myoclonus. You might me this by spasms? Anyhow, it doesn't bother me too much, but if the spasms are really bad you might consider diazepam - an excellant muscle relaxant.
Also, do you exercise much? How is the Parnate working for you?- that is the only other main drug I would use (still maybe augmenters).
All the very best to you,
Ace.

> Ace.Ace, im so glad to read that you are doing well again on Nardil. Your first love is always your best love, right? To answer your question - no, i rarely exercise and am actually pretty sedentary. The Parnate is doing a wonderful job on my depression - i feel true relief for the first time in my life. I am now an MAOI believer, after fighting off my pdoc's recommendations for so many years. As its said "too soon old, too late smart". All the very best to you, Mel
