Taking 5HTP with other meds?

I've been reading up on 5HTP and would like to start taking it, does anyone know if it is ok to take it while on Strattera?

i'm pretty sure it would be fine with Strattera, since it is not serotonergic at all. i even took it with Paxil once in awhile with no ill effects.

did it help with weight loss? I have heard that it can make you real tired...did you experience this at all? I don't have time to be tired! LOL

i've never taken it on a daily basis for that long-- mostly just here and there. i didn't notice any effect on my appetite (and i need to gain weight, not lose). It never made me tired either (then again, i usually just took 50- 100 mg).
