I just started Nardil today (for SP & Depression). I took my first 15mg pill around 10am, and my second recently @ 2pm. I don't notice anything different - yet. Of course I know most ADs take a certain amount of time to build-up in the blood stream so I don't expect an instant reaction.
My questions are what have been some of your starting dosages and at what rate is typical to start increasing dosage?
Also, some general stories with usage. Thanks.

It's now day 3 on Nardil. I'm up to 60mg a day. The only side-effect I have noticed so far is loss of very short-term memory. It's hard for me to hold a thought for more than abuot 30 seconds. Kind of a pain but hopefully it will lessen. Even if it doesn't I think it's worth it if I get to live some of my life with less anxiety and depression.
I seem to find Nardil a bit activating for so far. It doesn't make me speedy, but it doesn't slow me down any either. The best part is I can go to sleep when I want and wake up at a decent hour with little grogginess. I think that is due the depression lifting. Hopefully the side-effects stay to the minimum. Anyone think going up to 90mg next week is too soon?
Thanks,
Carlos

> My questions are what have been some of your starting dosages and at what rate is typical to start increasing dosage?day 1- 30mg
2- 30mg
3- 30mg
4- 45mg
5- 45mg
6- 45mg
6- 45mg
7- 45mg
8- 60mg-------4 weeks on 60mg---------
Then, if no response,
1. 75mg
------2 weeks on 75mg-----------
Then if no response
1. 90mg
Stick with it for 4 weeks then make decision.
> Also, some general stories with usage. Thanks.I'll give you a general story...Nardil blowed my ass of this earth with respect to its anti depressant and social phobia effect. It is an amazing AD. Took 6 weeks but.
But with OCD it left a bit to be desired and SOME atypical probs (derealization and phobic anxiety)

Thanks Ace!
BTW, you may want to try and stay on Nardil. Some people have had success with augmenting it with something like Serzone. That may help your OCD. I'm on 100mg of Serzone and Nardil.

It's ultimately up to you of course, but just to answer you- yes I'm on 112.5mg of Serzone with Nardil and I've read of other going months with up to 250mg of Serzone and 75mg of Nardil I believe. Best wishes.Carlos
