best ap for negative symptoms

i know it really varies from person to person, but is there one ap that is generally more effective for things like social withdrawl, inability to bring words together, apathy, lack of motivation etc... thanks, oh and abilify is out of the question cause i live in canada.

remeron although it isn't aprroved for psychosis, can treat negative symptoms in schizophrenia wihtout causeing the unwanteed side effects of ap's.(eps and tardive dyskenesia)

Geodon is the other one besides Abilify that has really helped with my negative symptoms. I don't think Geodon (ziprasidone) is out in Canada either. It's too bad I had to stop Geodon because it did not control my voices well enough.

I agree with Paradigm9--Geodon really works for negative symptoms. For me however it also works on positive symptoms. I assume it will be released in Canada sometime soon.

Remeron would be better if you are intolerant to side effects like Akathesia(restlessness), dystonia, parkinsonism, tardive dyskenesia etc. Every antipsychotic cuases these problems with the exception of clozaril

Den2, Is that your personal expereince that remeron can help psychosis or is there any literature that refers to this? Thanks in advance. Lawrence S.
