REMERON: What time do you take it?

Posted by ShelliR on March 27, 2003, at 11:53:43

When I was below 60mg, I took it all before bed and slept well. Last night when I raised it to 60mg, I woke up a lot during the night. Should I be splitting the dose? Taking it now in the morning?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Shelli

I take my 30 mg at 8:30 pm. I'm asleep by 11 most nights, but some nights it does knock me out by 10. Over a year ago when I started, I was asleep within half an hour of taking it. That passed.

Hi there. I'm not sure but I think higher doses of the drug can speed you up a bit. You may want to try splitting the dose a bit but check with your doctor first. I tried Remeron about a year and a half ago but I think the wrong dose was prescribed. I was bed-ridden for days until I went off it. It's still an option for me now but I'm kind of scared of it from the last time! It sounds like you've done well with it...good luck!

haven't had any AD effects yet, either.

Thanks,
