Hi - I just started this medication about 10 days ago. I started having panic attacks a few months ago and due to several bad falls over the past yrs gained some phobias about walking on wet pavements and snow. then I guess that 9/11 - my office was 2 blocks away - has been slowly driving me abit mad. I already feel better but still get quesy in the mornings and am having some strange dreams. I am taking just 10 mg daily and have zanax for immediate relief if needed.
I am very glad to have found this site.

I can relate being from NYC myself. I found Lexapro increased my anxiety until it really started working, which was about 9 weeks later. Definitely rely on that Xanax to get you through.
By the way, this board saved me. I thought I was going nuts with all these sudden physical symptoms and people's comments confirmed my feelings and gave me "amunition" to go to my doctor with.
