Hello, Let's start a new strattera thread? I have been on strattera 40mg for 8 days. I am lowering my dose of serzone. I am feeling alright, sleeping good and sex is great. i seem to be having alot of hair loss. anyone else? how is everyone else doing?

That's interesting -- but unfortunate! -- that this is happening to you: the hairloss. I have tried Strattera 3x, and cannot get past the first 2 days, even at 10 mg. I was afraid this med might cause this problem for me, as Wellbutrin did; and I did not want to go through that again.
It's possible that this loss may be an initial shedding, and things will normalize. Or, indeed, for some, this could be a chronic problem. For me, skin irritations will set into motion many of these kinds of problems..

My doc is trying to get me onto a Strattera-Serzone thing, I'm glad to hear it works for you. Did you have weight gain on the Serzone? Are you an atypical? I'm probably starting these new meds this week, but have bad med trial burnout.
A lot of psy meds cause hair loss, usually AEDs but any drug can do this. If it continues, try 50 mg of zinc a day- this stopped hair loss cold for me. I find I need a little more minerals and B vitamins with the meds.
My big Strattera question, Is it as rocky through the day as Adderall? I have depression with ADD like symptoms and dex made me feel better but the flying-crash-and-burn cycle it does through the day was tough. Is Strattera more in the background.missliz
