I've decided to go back on Nardil. I stopped because I had to have 2 surgerys. I've been on ritalin 20mg a day. What is the minimum amount of time to allow for elimination of ritalin before starting nardil?
Thanks in advance. Lawrence S.

a week to 10 days. I actually took them together with no bad effects but 10 days is safer.

Thanks for the info. Going a week to ten days is going to be an unacceptable amount of torture. Then add to that the time it takes for the nardil to kick in. Maybe I should just start it the next day??

i would think that just a day or a few days would be okay since Ritalin doesn't stay in your system that long. i'm not sure though. Ask your dr or pharmacist. If you must wait, in the meantime maybe embrace caffeine-- one of the greatest drugs around. :)
