I have gained quite a bit of weight on Remeron 30 mgs. Pdoc has upped it to 45 mgs. to try to counteract this. Will I have better luck losing this weight now that she has raised the dosage? I have been unable to lose it while on the 30 mgs.

In reply to Remeron, upped to 45, will the weight come off?, posted by Rainbowlight on March 8, 2003, at 23:51:05
Hi Rainbowlight~
This is only my personal experience but (for what it's worth): When I went up to 45, up to 60, up to 75 mgs..every time I went up..I lost about 8 lbs...then after a couple months my weight would go up as it did on the lower doses. I've been on it for a bit over 21/2 years, have been cutting slllowwwly back to get off of it.
Have you tried or tried adding Wellbutrin? At a certain level its supposed to curb your appetite.
This is the end of the thread.
