Hi guys
Why all doctors give you ssris instead of MAOIS to treat social anxiety ? Ive have heard that MAOIS are better , arent they?Is there anyone that has beaten Social Phobia
with an SSRI?

yes, and the one person lives inside a Paxil ad.Klonopin is the only thing that works for me and most. I gave a talk last night, and was calm. And a girl came up to me last night and it looks like we'll go out.

Great to hear you had a double sucess last night,, Utopizen.. Sounds like you are on the way to a major breakout from your Anxiety areas! Keep up the hard work.

Hi utopizen, good to hear about good results.I have to give a talk too, can you please tell the dose of Klonopin you use and if you combine with other meds?. I mean I need to be calm but alert.
When I take as little as 1/4 0.5mg tablet during the day sometimes I feel sedation.

*******inm on LEX 4 weeks not working for anxiety social anxiety paninc etc..., is it to early or should i suugest DR. changes me over? kolonopin? do you take that everyday? have you tried ssris also compared to kolonopin? what do you think?

> ThanksI was taking 40mg of Inderal too. Klonopin can make me calm, but not if my heart is in panic mode. So the Inderal stops it from doing this, and I remain calm.
You may have to try more Inderal than this, and you'll know it if your heart is racing still even with the Klonopin.
I was taking 1.5mg Klonopin. You may need more, who knows.
Take a 2 hour nap right before talk, but after taking it.
And base this after a 8-9 hr. sleep the night before. You'll do fine.
Can't relate to sedation of Klonopin, but do know it can go away after a few weeks of daily use if you're planning on taking it that way. Myself, I just get it for special ocassions, but should start regularly when I see my doc next week
