Mood Stabilizers- Which is best for sleep?

Posted by betternow on February 22, 2003, at 16:13:37

Anyone have info on Neurontin or Gabatril or trileptal for sleep only.

Trying to get off Ambien/Xanax/trazadone combination. I also take WellbutrinXR 150mg in am and again at lunch, Buspar 15mg bid, Ritalin 10mg in the am. Just stopped Zyprexa due to weight gain. Hope to start Geodon or Abilify next week.

Have you ever tryed Seroquel? I used to take Ambien and Xanex to go to sleep but they stopped working. The only thing that gets me to sleep is 25mg Seroquel at night. It has been a god sent. Good Luck.

I'd give 300-400mg of Neurontin at bedtime a try. Since you will be taking so many different meds you don't want it interacting much with the others.
