YES,I dare say so,though I amn't talking about a "great"success on SSRI,but a "good"one
I have been on Prozac and Celexa, but it "seems"that Effexor is even "better"(I say "seems",as I am still less time on Effexor than on the both meds mentioned before); I consider Effexor being superior to a SSRI due to its "dose dependent & anxiolitic" qualities
P.S. why should someone switch to Effexor if he is feeling "great"on a SSRI etc.??

Very!!! I have comorbid panic, gad , bi-polar disorders. Aside from a mood stabelizer and benzos mix, effexor is the only of the 'newer meds" to releave a dep. episode for me. I am then slowly tapered of and sometimes put on the "ssri of the day." I wish I coud contine effexor use for antilixic reasons but, being more "stimulating" then other I become hypo manic eventually, the when I need it , it is there and EFFECTIVE
PS If you are going great on current meds, why switch?
