i don't know why, but when i first take my zyprexa, before the sedation sets in, i feel really motivated, find myself laughing a lot ....
i've heard that antipsychotics can act as stimulants at small doses, is this right? related?what am i missing that would make me laugh and cheerful all the time?
is this what stimulants do?

Atypical Anti-psychotics increase dopamine transmission by blocking 5-HT2c receptors - thus the stimulant-like effects.
