I've tried tapering off it, but its been hellish,
contemplating staying on the 10mg dose which staves of the withdraw.l The reason I quit paxil was because it affected my weight though. If it doesn't matter how little I take, in order for the weight gain to continue, I'll have try againto drop it entirely.
I can't find the answer anywhere.Maybe I should ask my Dr.

> (ha)I'm not sure if it is dose-dependant because I had a hellish time tapering too and the weight (almost 20 pounds) came off as soon as I stopped taking it. I guess you could try that dose for 2-3 weeks and see if it impacts your weight. If not, talk to your doctor. As my pdoc so flippantly said, "We can give you something to help with the withdrawal." (They can be such assholes, can't they?)

And yes, they certainly can.
When mine wanted to give me antipsychotics to help me sleep I threw in the towel mentally,
though I can't change dr's..I was not an insomiac, it was an offer.. here have these anti-psychotics..
