Is anyone trying to supplement lexapro with the Omega 3 supplements. How long does it take to see any results. I am very depressed and actually my wife is helping me write this message.

Taking Omega 3 might make you feel better but it won't turn around your depression. It should give more of a minor improvement. If you have been on Lexapro for at least a month, you need to talk to your doctor about increasing your dosage. A dose increase usually is all one needs. Although the starting dose is 10 mg, I take 20 mg of Lexapro each day and am doing very well on it.

From what I have read - Omega-3 supplements can help turn around depression. I believe one needs to take approx. 4-5grams per day. I am taking 3grams now and I take 30mg Lexapro. There's hope.
