Does anyone know of an alternative treatment for subclinical hyperthyroidism? And has anyone with this problem found that psychiatric drugs can help?
Thanks.

Alternative to what? If you looking for a natural med, there are natural thyroid products (made from dessicated animal thyroids). I think there are also some herbs that are promoted as having thryoid healing properties but I don't know anything about those.
For more info, see the "thyroid and depression" folder.

I meant to include the link to the thyroid and depression folder. I experimented with the double double quotes, but that linked to a book at amazon (a good book, by the way!). Here is the url for the thyroid and depression folder (linked in intro to PB at top of page, btw)
