Hi, this is my first post here. I've often come to these boards to look for info, but never took the time to register. Anyway, I'm currently being treated for OCD, depression, anxiety and plenty of other things too. I've been on Zoloft, Paxil, and Celexa, but am currently taking Effexor XR and Risperdal.
Anyway, a few days ago, I upped my dosage of Effexor XR from 75mg/day to 150mg/day and wow, this stuff is SPEEDY! And the effects of caffeine are doubled! Drinking a couple sodas while on this stuff puts me into a hyped-up euphoria. Though anymore caffeine than that and it turns into jitters and nervousness. Was just wondering if anyone else gets this effect.

I had this effect when increasing from 75 to 150mg, and from 150 to 225mg, but it was temporary. I occasionally still get overstimulated from the 225 mg but I am able to sleep and I can tolerate caffeine well.

I find Effexor activating, too. Some people have the opposite experience. I have balanced the effexor with serzone, otherwise I would not be able to sleep (and other adverse effects, too).
