Anyone taking an MAOI with Provigil? I was wondering if you can combine the two since so many drugs seem to be counterindicated with MAOIs.
I am interested in Provigil because of Klonopin side effects, namely apathy and sleepiness.

Yes I took provigil with parnate it's no problem.

I added provigil to Nardil for about 3 months, at my doctor's suggestion. I had been on Nardil for many years, but still was lethargic too much of the time I had no side effects at all from
combining the two. Unfortunately, the provigil didn't do any good. In fact, it didn't do anything at all, bad or good.

Hi there -
MAOI + Klonopin is safe and Nardil + Klonpoin can be among the most powerful SP treatments. It all depends on the person what works but MAOI + Klonopin is safe and not contraindicated. You can add Klonopin "prn" to an constant MAOI for added effect in extra challenging situations.
