I recently (wednesday dec18) started taking wellbutrin instead of effexor. I was taking 150/day of effexor-xr, attempted suicide and got put on a 72 hour hold in a psych hospital. The doc there decided to switch me to 150/day wellbutrin. My last effexor was monday around midnight, and my first wellbutrin was wednesday morning. 6am Thursday, when I was awakened for vitals, I had a throbbing headache that pierced from the back of my head straight through to my eyes. This headache has not gone away. The hospital gave me 75mg quick release effexor and tylenol. Nothing has really helped make it go away, I awake with it, or it wakes me (5am yesterday). I dont know what to do to help! HELP!!
