I ask because a close compound, Modafinil, interacts with steroid contraceptives (oral, injection, and implants).
Modafinil and contraceptives are both metabolized by the liver enzyme CYP3A4, according to provigil.com.
I couldn't find if Adrafinil interacts with them, which is strange considering Adrafinil has been around longer.
Thanks!

Hi wingedcat--
The primary metabolite of adrafinil is modafinil. Also, there are isolated reports from clinical studies that adrafinil increased sexual interest. Sounds like a backup method of contraception is called for.
