I am taking 150 mg Effexor in the a.m. and 5 mg of Zyprexa in the p.m. I am bipolar. I have had good results with this combination. My only complaint would be: I have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning and slight weight gain. I have decided for now that the benefits out weigh the negative side effects.

Thanks :)
I'm taking 5 mg of zyprexa, 75 mg of effexor, and 500 mg of depakote. I just started the zyprexa so I'll let you know how it goes.
Keep me posted on your progress - It helps.

i find that with zyprexa i lose interest in doing as
many activities .....i don't know whether to qualify this as 'being normal',
a bad side effect, or a state of depressioni'm starting ritalin sr for ADD and also wonder how well it will work against depression and the zyprexa ZZZzzzzzs
(when i first started zyprexa i was taking a stimulating antidepressant -- parnate -- and i didn't feel so slowed down by zyprexa)
