Could 5-MeO-DMT boost 5HT?

Posted by Cisco on December 5, 2002, at 10:26:49

After taking 5-Methoxy Dimethyltryptamine several times in the last two weeks, I have noticed that my depression has lifted. I sleep well, and when I wake up, I feel well. More importantly, I WANT to get up and go greet the day. I haven't felt like that for.....years. Before, getting out of bed was too much trouble, and pointless anyway........

Is there any way that 5-MeO-DMT has somehow
kick- started my 5-HydroxyTryptamine "pump"?
5MeO-DMT is a short-acting 5-HT2 agonist. Can that account for this long-lasting (2+ weeks) period of feeling good? Or is there another mechanism at work?

Any and all bright ideas willingly examined!

Thanks,

Cisco

This has been reported. However, the legal way
to do this is take AD's. All AD's are structurally
close to the indole & tryptphane hallucinogenics.

5-MeO-DMT is unclassified and uncontrolled in the States..There is no need to report Cisco's post.
