after reading some of the posts here I decided to try fish oil. I took a 1000mg pill this am but one of my questions is ultimately- what am I shooting for? 5-6 grams per day? Also has anyone heard of a connection between fish oil and a lessening of OCD symptoms? Mine tend to be related to my depression so I guess if it lessens my depression it will lessen my obsessions. Are there any side effects? I am experiencing heartburn which is not good because I am already on a prescription for acid reflux. Thanks. babs

and anything about fish oil and add? I just started adderall and it seems to be working great but wondering if fish oil will make it even better!

omega 3 seems to regulate dopamine and serotonin, it may indeed help with OCD
symptoms as it seems to help many
mental disorders. It may cause some GI
disturbance for a few days but take
note that Omega 3 may actually help repair
dammaged tissue.Linkadge

There is an enteric coated fishoil product alled "Fisol" or something like that. I haven't tried it yet, but others here have reported that you don't get any reflux because it is released in your small intestine instead of your stomach. I've found that it helps to take fishoil capsules about an hour or so *after* a meal, after most of your "burping" is past :)
