I can see a large number of people post about Lexapro here. I have been on it almost 4 weeks now. This is gnerally considered an appropriate time to judge the worth of an antidepressant.
Just wondering how everyone's experience with Lexapro, in comparison to past medications they have been on is?
I, myself, don't find it is helping much with my depression or OCD much. I do however find that it may be starting to help with anxiety and I have a strange lack of side-effects! At least in comparison to every other med I have been on.
A lot of people say they gave noticed a difference in 1-2 weeks! I find this shocking and admit I am a little jealous. How long of trial would be considered "normal" to give this med a try?

I think I've been on Lexepro for about 3 weeks now - 1 week at 10mg and two weeks at 20mg. Nothing. Nada. No side effects that I really notice - except delayed ejaculation. Other than that - apathy, low motivation, dysphoria and anxiety still plague me.
Oh - I am gaining weight - tremendous gains. I 've gained 10 lbs in one week EVEN though I'm on Dexedrine.
HA. HA.
it sucks
