I'm on Effexor 75 and Neurontin 900mg, My mood is relatively stable but I always want to go to bed early and I don't have much energy. When I drink coffee it does nothing but make me shaky. I work out 4-5 five times a week and I should have more energy. Can anyone recommend anything( ps I don't do well on wellbutrin).

See calaways post msg 121123, this is what i'm going to try...good luck
I actually did try a phen-free (EAS brand) supplement today, and it went very well. I had a boost of energy, no jitter or racing heart beat. I was very happy with the results. I am taking a beginners running course and went for my run today and felt great. Lots of energy left over. I would wait until the side effect have subsided until you try a supplement and start with a ephedra free brand. I used to use the old formula (in canada it was taken off the shelves still available in states) of Zenadrine and loved the results, but again go for the ephedra free formula.
As for the effexor my side effects have disappeared. I personally find now that I have a ton of energy. I used to be on paxil and 9 days out of 10 I napped in the afternoon for at least and hour or two. Not only have I stopped napping, but the other day I cleaned house till 8:15pm. My husband is floor at the change in me. I do find that I still get irritated too easily, but my dr. wants to wait 2 more weeks before deciding to increase the dose.
