Nardil dosage?

Posted by SLS on September 13, 2002, at 9:40:21

Hi.

I'm taking Nardil for bipolar depression.

I am currently taking 75mg and am experiencing low blood pressure and a few other side effects that were not present at 60mg. Perhaps I didn't give 60mg long enough to work.

For anyone:

What dosages are you taking and what side effects are you experiencing?

Thanks in advance.

Scott

I take Nardil for social phobia.. I started at 45mg with little side effects, then to 60mg with little side effects, now I am at 75mg with little side effects. The only side effects I would say is occasionally fatigue, I use to shake a little when I first started. Overall I am happy I haven't experienced many side effects but it still hasn't kicked in on my 4th week.

90 mgs. worked best for me. My weight is 215lbs. It seems like there is a threshold right around the >60 to 75 mg. At that range it seemed to simply stop working.
