Hey folks:I really need some help here. Zyprexa has to be 'nixed' from my med regiment, mostly because of weight gain. I have read that Moban, a 'sort of' atypical antipsychotic, causes some weight loss...but it is not available in Canada.
I was thinking maybe of the tricyclic with some AP properties like amoxapine...and I understand there is loxapine. I've gone with the risperdal ->
seroquel route...I need to look at some a tad older...but with least TD risk. (TD risk is *still* possible with the atypicals...and I think the difference between some old and new was overstated.)Help..please...help!
Thank you,
Jay
