Hello,
I am currently taking effexor and although I am not as anxious on it don't feel that it is lifting my depression at all. I am about to try lamictal but it seems to me from reading the threads that it works mainly for bipolars. If you suffer from unipolar and have tried lamictal can you let me know your experiences with this drug?
Thanks.....Denise

Hi,
I'm unipolar. I take 100 and it's helped me a lot. I also take effexor and imipramine and sam-e, but I think the lamictal made the biggest difference in activating me. Unfortunately I may have to give it up due to a headache that won't budge. I'm told this is very very RARE though. I'd give it a shot.
