Can tegretol interfere with paxil levels?

I'm taking 40 mg paxil and 300mg tegretol.

The Paxil will tend to boost blood levels of Tegretol. You might want to get a Tegretol blood level. Paxil has a very wide blood level range without being toxic, Tegretol does not.

Thanks Mitch.

I've had blood levels - the doc was surprised at how low a level of tegretol I needed for effectiveness - prob because of the Paxil.

I'm sure it has reduced the Xanax levels in my blood though.
